Before this Celtics team won it all, I could never dislike the core players of this team. For some odd reason, the media disliked and even hated this collection of Celtics players. Once it became obvious that the 2023-24 Celtics were going to win it all, I simply stated that this Boston Celtics team simply defied all the critics that consistently had some type of criticism against them. To all the diehard Boston Celtics fans out there that never gave up on this team, congratulations. Much respect to Brad Stevens that had the brain trust to assemble this amazing roster. Out of all the NBA champions, I think this Boston Celtics roster virtually punched all of the so-called expert media critics directly in the nose.

I watched around 100 Celtics games this season. Not sure if you watched any more than the play-offs, but Jason Tatum is the best player on the Celtics.. going away. Brown's a great player and I feel he got snubbed for ALL-NBA, but Tatum is better. I get the criticism in the playoffs but Tatum led the Celtics in points, rebounds and assists in the postseason. One of only a few players to do so. Tatum will get the big extension this off-season and despite having to play in the Olympics next month, I bet he will come back even better next season. I believe he needs to work on finishing at the rim so we'll see.
